Currently, the Membership product is functional, but not fully.

• It is useful, and can be extended (have done so myself).
• It has a crude Role Management interface

Things I still need to do:

• Verify the encryption aspect of user passwords works.
• Improve the UserManagement Functions.

If You Want to Use It

If you want to use the product, here are some useful tips/procedures:

• Install the tarball, and import the PortalMembership .zexp into [Control Panel] -> [Products]
• If you have the DataSkinAddons package, you can go into the UserSource screen, and add a CatalogTrigger in Data Plug-ins to catalog members in MemberCatalog. This will allow you to at least see your users, and get to a management screen for them.

• Remember the product is still in development. It can be used, but may not be compatible from alpha/beta to release.
