Programming for the Fun of It (PFI)
There are many things which make programming difficult:
- Inherent complexity
- Poor teachers
- Lack of examples
- Difficult programming languages
- Steep learning curve
And there are solutions to many of these:
- Problem-solving skills and tactics
- A community willing to share what they've learned
- Open-source code as a form of literature
- Python programming language
- Best practices and access to the existing body of knowledge
Maybe everyone won't be a great programmer, but anyone can create something useful and have fun.
