From Zero to Plone-2.0 in 5 Minutes
  • LivePlone-2.0-RC1 delivers Plone via a 630MB CD, remastered from the latest Knoppix 3.3 2003/11/14 using make_LiveOIO utilities.
  • Check out the latest offering from the Plone community in total comfort and convenience. No need to worry about re-configuring your Zope/Linux server or finding a free test machine. Stick the CD in your Windows laptop or desktop machine and turn it into the perfect Plone test system :-).
  • This is the third public release of LivePlone. New in this release is the Single-Click (not Pat.Pending) Plone launcher icon. Just boot the CD and access Plone with a single click. That's a 50% reduction in the number of clicks compared to LivePlone-1.0.5.
  • Use Knoppix's knx-hdinstall to install Plone, Zope, etc to produce a fully functional Debian GNU/Linux server from bare harddrive.

    If you can read this text, it means you are not experiencing the Plone design at its best. Plone makes heavy use of CSS, which means it is accessible to any internet browser, but the design needs a standards-compliant browser to look like we intended it. Just so you know ;)
