It is actively used at one of our clients and working well there. That's why it has a non-zero version number. But your mileage may vary.
The implementation in ZClasses is very inefficient, so we will change to a Python product. All the API will quite probably change a couple of times before it stabilizes ...
Kontentor needs Zope 2.3.1 (and only this version) to work properly.
The tarball contains all stuff that is needed, including external products like Transparent Folder and Core Session Management to make installation easy. If you have already installed those products, please untar the tarball to a temporary directory and just move what you need to the Products folder.
