SilvaSampleContentTypes is an extension of the Silva Product

It provides some example content types and some documentation describing a methodology to create new content types both simple and arbitrary complex ones.

This product is not meant to be used on production sites. See the INSTALL.txt for more information on the requirements to install this product.

SilvaSampleContentTypes comes shipped with three example content types:

1. Blob aka Silva Sample Blob is a very minimal content type. (At least it is the purpose of this type to show the minimal requirements needed for a content type.)
2. SampleDocument aka Silva Sample Document is a mildly customized variant of the Silva Document adding a few features. This customization added the following featues:
   • a versioned document title
   • a simple widget to insert download links for files on a line by itself
3. Agenda aka Silva Sample Meeting Agenda is a relatively complex content type with a full fledged XML based editor. Its purpose is to show most of the possible features one can build with Silva.

The defined content types are just samples; you can define your content types in a completely different way, of course. You may also want to take a look at the DemoObject in the Silva product (also available as an extension product SilvaDemoExtension.)

The documentation is in structured text in the doc directory. You can import the files into some ZWiki for better reading, if you want.
