If Your Silva instance is in production mode and there are a lot of Authors editing documents, it may be useful to switch on the XML editor's cache for faster rendering of the edit forms. For this go to the 'service_widgets' folder via the ZMI, choose the Properies tab and check the 'cached' property. - If You want only some widgets to be cached, You can override this property in suybfolders. - If You have a development instance, it is possibly not so useful to activate the cache, except You love Your error messages that mucht that You like them to be cached ';)'
