CPS 3.3.4 (devel branch) released

CPS 3.3.4 (development branch) has been released with many bugfixes, optimizations and other improvements.

CPS 3.3.4 (development branch) has been released.

It is available as source package, Windows installer package and Debian packages on cps-project.org

What's new in CPS 3.3.4?

CPS 3.3.4 has a lot less new features compared to what CPS 3.3.3 brought to you back in April. CPS 3.3.4 is really more about bug fixes, optimizations and improvements (not always immediately noticeable):

  • CPS has been worked on a lot to provide CMF > 1.5.1, Zope 2.8 and Five compatibility.
  • Object re-indexing optimizations have been done.
  • The CPS event service has been improved to provide the possibility to enable and disable a subscriber and to control the order in which events are distributed to subscribers.
  • In CPSSubscriptions, it is now possible to specify TALES expression to compute who will receive notifications.
  • CPSWiki has had some usability improvements along with the addition of a user interface to attach files and to back-links support.
  • CPSPortlets cache parameters are now managed in the ZMI. Support for CMFActionIcons was also added. Portlet box states are now stored in a cookie instead of being persistent.
  • CPSSkins has seen addition of navigation tabs in the portlet editor to switch between themes and pages.
  • All CPS translation files (that is .pot and .po files) have had their quality improved and are now unit tested. Moreover i18n nightly coverage tests announce the current state of all translations.
  • Many bugs have been fixed in the Group Roles plugin of PluggableUserFolder.

About CPS

Nuxeo CPS is an extensive collaborative Web content management system (CMS) implemented on top of Zope and the CMF, that enables organizations to easily, quickly and efficiently implement collaborative portals (intranet, extranet or internet) and workflow-oriented business applications. Nuxeo CPS has already been adopted by major accounts in the Administration (French Ministries of Interior, of Culture, of Finance, of Justice, French Atomic Energy Commission...), in the private sector (Groupe Suez, STMicroelectronics...) and by the major french IT consultancies (Capgemini, Unilog, Steria, Transiciel...). CPS is developped by Nuxeo and a community of contributors.
