Zope and Nuxeo CPS Chosen by the French Atomic Energy Commission

Nuxeo and the CPS team are happy and proud to announce that the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) has chosen Nuxeo Collaborative Portal Server as a national application, providing the groups and projects with services for collaborative work. Already more than 30 instances of CPS are in use at CEA, and much more are planned after new improvements scheduled for this summer.

This contract will benefit the Zope, CMF and CPS communities, since all the improvements made during the contract will be available as GPL software. That includes improvements to the Zope authentification ("yet another user folder", as Paul E. said in a private conversation) and CPS user management systems, document storage scalability, better WebDAV support, better mailing list support, as well as specific new products.

Other long-running ongoing contracts, including ones with the French Ministry of Culture and of Interior, as well as with local administrationsm, will ensure continous development of CPS for at least the 3 following years.
