Folder icon QuickLinks

What it is

QuickLinks is an add on to the Zope management interface. All it does is that it adds the possibility to have a couple of quick links to selected meta types for those that are too lazy to use the drop-down 10 centimeters from there.

It replaces the usual manage_main method, but if you have ExternalEditor installed (version 0.4.1 and 0.5) this product works with that too.

If a select meta type's icon has not been defined in the meta_type_icons.py module, it will appear as a text link. You can of course edit that file as you please.

Testimonials

"I want to congratulate you for you quickLinks product, very useful product."
- Gwendal Paugam

"Peter, I'm never going to use the ZMI without Quicklinks again. Thanks!"
- Jeff Kowalczyk

How to install

Unzip in your Products directory either with WinZip (windows) or unzip (linux).
Restart Zope and visit the Control Panel of Zope and from there click on Quick Links and select the meta types you use a lot.
