ZXMail 0.1 released

The Zope XMail product (ZXMail) provides a graphical interface for administration of the excellent XMail mail server.

ZXMail acts as a socket client to the XMail controler server. As such it can be installed on any server with a TCP/IP connection to the XMail server to be administered. ZXMail belongs into the category of so-called "middleware", software that sits between client and server and that implements most of the application logic.

The frontend GUI is purely based on web forms. Thus the frontend application to access the administrators GUI is a web browser.

This is the initial release of the admin tool (version 0.1). Nevertheless the software is usable for the most common XMail administration tasks. The administration interface provides the following features:

• Control of connection properties, such as admin id, password as well as XMail server details (name, port), connection testing.
• Editing of main server configuration file (server.tab)
• Mail domain management
• Mail users management
