What is ZopeJapanesePak?

This is a patch and extension for Zope, Plone and other products to support Japanese better.

Feature:

• ZMI Chinese Support: Set management_page_charset property of zope automatically if it is not exist.
  • Name: management_page_charset
  • type: string
  • value: utf-8
• Zope Japanese Id support.
• Support Japanese file name when ftp. Note: You must change value of the LOCAL_FTP_ENCODING value in config.py to correct encoding. (default sjis)
• Support Japanese file name when webdav. Note: Windows Web Folder has a caching problem. We must clear its caches every session.
• Support Japanese file name when you upload a file by Plone. Note: If you open the file without saving, the display of the title becomes illegal.

Notice:

• if you want to use LDAPUserFolder in utf-8 with this Product, you must change encoding in LDAPUserFolder/utils.py from latin1 to utf-8.
