MailHost

The MailHost product provides support for sending email from within the Zope environment using MailHost objects.

Email can optionally be encoded using Base64, Quoted-Printable

or UUEncode encoding.

Version 2.0 adds ESMTP support (username/password). Note that these fields are clear text and could represent a security issue. The fields are optional.

versions of python older than 1.5.2 may need the included smtplib.py

NOTE that version 2.0.0 is for zope 2.3.x, while version 2.5 is for zope 2.5.x.

I just tried the 2.5 version and it works fine with zope 2.6.2

If you can read this text, it means you are not experiencing the Plone design at its best. Plone makes heavy use of CSS, which means it is accessible to any internet browser, but the design needs a standards-compliant browser to look like we intended it. Just so you know ;)
