One Way To Do It
LiBC stands for the Linux in Boise Club. This wiki deals with the
development of a community-oriented site, to serve as an example
of how to develop such a site using zope. The site is live, and the
site is real. Not even the names have been changed to protect the
innocent, nor the guilty.
Watch The Process Unfold
For those fortunate enough to get to this wiki during the
actual development of the site, you will get to see how the
site is transformed into the goal, acheived through the use
and development of a number of Zope products.
Fortunately/Unfortunately, some of the custom products were developed
prior to the creation of this wiki, so you won't get to see the process
for them right away in the wiki. I will however try to get them up, and
in any event, the process will undoubtedly be repeated.
To see some of the currently available pages, go to SiteModel or SiteStructure
For those revisiting, there is always the RecentChanges page.
Please do not edit any of the pages, I would prefer that discussion be
done on the ProcessDiscussion page, thank you.
To see some of my writings on Portals and Communities, try PortalPhases
and PortalsVortalsAndCommunities. Note the latter is blank at this time.
Warning
But always remember: this is but one way, one option for site organization you have.
It is not the final solution.
