Klassifieds

Klassifieds implements a Classifieds Advertising System. It is built using Python.

Main features:

• editable categories & category descriptions
• optional moderation of all new/changed adverts
• optional verification of advertisers' email addresses
• ban email address list to prevent certain users from advertising
• optional page views counter for each advert
• optional spam guard to hide email addresses
• can use BTreeFolders to improve performance for larger advert databases
• opt-in email list for advertisers
• automated photo upload
• users can edit adverts
• search adverts by keywords, categories, date placed, adverts with photos
• email advert to a friend feature
• expiry of adverts at user defined intervals
• most DTML pages available for easy customisation

This system is still under development. I would welcome any comments, bugs or feature requests. I would not recommend that this system is used for important sites yet. If you use it on a public site, please drop me a note of the url.
