Easy Publisher 1.7 released!

Torped are proud to release Easy Publisher 1.7.

Easy Publisher is a complete professional web content management system developed with the Zope application server.

Easy Publisher 1.7 is based on the latest Zope release, 2.5.1, and includes numerous new features as well as bug fixes and improved installations.

Easy Publisher 1.6 is availiable for evaluation from http://www.easypublisher.com/. If you want to evaluate Easy Publisher 1.7, contact Lennart Regebro.

Main new features since 1.6

  • Easy Publisher now requires Zope 2.5.1 or later.
  • The Windows install now automatically installs and start Easy Publisher as an NT service or Windows NT, 2000 and XP.
  • The Unix installation now integrates the Zope and Easy Publisher installation.
  • Virtual hosting now supports Apache ProxyPass hosting without SiteRoots.
  • The link dialog now supports uploading files and images directly.
  • Added support for restoring the original image in EasyImages
  • You can now enter categories, subjects and descriptions at the creation page of most objects.
  • Simpler Form template creation.
